The one about democracy, human rights and laws

The one about democracy, human rights and laws

Let me explain how democracy does not grant you human rights [1]

Democracy is not about human rights but about giving power to people you vote for. For example.

Capitalists do not believe in human rights. Any human right is a concept created by socialists. Human rights do not generate profit but limit it.

So if you vote as a capitalist you probably want to limit human rights. That’s how democracy work.

Now most of the people should not vote for such ideas, otherwise we will end up in fascist country.

But due to nature of humans and our tendency to protect ourselves from fears right wing parties steer public opinion to believe we need to have less human rights. Like for example remove black people from USA.

Democracy still works, and it does its job. We just as humans picked the road to dooms day future.

Lastly, we "leftists" really need to understand how "less human rights" sounds more appealing to some people (mostly white men) and start to target them to change their mind.

Any right is a debatable concept. We lost this and took it for granted. That’s why now circle of hate repeats.

We need to wake the fuck up and start educating people that without human rights shit will hit the fan.

But! Democracy should stay as it is. Democracy has nothing to do with human rights.

Human rights are like any law made by human set of artificial values that we believe in. Some people in USA stopped believing in these values. Shit is really close to fan and next 4 years will be scary af.

Still human rights are not some eternal philars that cannot be moved. It’s really like that. Check USA. They really do not believe in this anymore.

How to bring back human rights to our values set

We need to educate those white men with videos from concentration camps, slave stories, women rights abuse to bring back empathy. Empathy above their artificial fears created by right wing politicians.

And if some of those fears are actually true. Like fear of religious extremists we cannot continue to say "this problem does not exist and you are [religion]phobic". It does not work anymore. People do not believe in this anymore.
